NGC 1333

NGC1333 – Embryo Nebula (Phantom Tiara)

A reflection nebula located in the northern constellation Perseus. The nebula is visible as a hazy patch in a small telescope, while a larger aperture will show a pair of dark nebulae designated Barnard 1 and Barnard 2. there is a large amount of IFN in this area too. That’s the reddish hue in the background that gives a hazy llok.

Once I get this RC8 collimated I’m going to be very happy with it. Ignoring the stars, I’m liking the resolution.

This image is right at 7 hours of exposure ove a couple of nights in December. RC8; ASI071MC Pro; EQ6r Pro
